• ❖ Established in the year 2002, it was run as a society with about 25 members. Revival took place in the year 2010. Membership drive triggered the strength to rise steeply to 145 within four years.
• ❖ In the year 2014, a colorful DREA Directory of members was published.
• ❖ DREA was recognized by the Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW), under Wed based 'Pensioner's Portal', a mission mode project under the National e-Governance Plan during the year 2014.
• ❖ As per the directive of the DoPPW, DREA was organizing 'Swachch Bharat' program in our office permises and in leading schools in the district.
• ❖ An office infrastructure was established in a central location in Nagercoil Town in the year 2014. Services of a part-time Data Entry Operator were availed for an hour, three days in a week.
